Come along and learn some great tips from Christine Haigh from Do Crafts. She will be demonstrating their latest range of products. So why not come along and get some great ideas for your Christmas cards?

Brighouse Demonstrations

All of our demonstrations are from 10am to 4pm and are FREE to attend. Just turn up at any point during the day and learn some new skills and techniques.

Saturday 30th July - Design Objectives Demonstration. With Joey Burdett

Today Joey will be making some great products using the latest range of Do Crafts products which include both a birthday and Christmas range.

Sunday 31st July - Francoise Reed

Francoise is a very talented designer for Woodware. She will be here all day showing you some fabulous rubber stamping techniques and card making ideas.

Sunday 7th August - Polka Doodles Demonstration with Nikky Hall.

Nikky Hall is one of the designers for Polka Doodles and returns to Samuel Taylors Brighouse today. Her demonstration earlier in the year proved to be extremely popular. Nikky will be here giving you some more inspirational ideas and tips using the Polka Doodles range of CDs and stamps. Nikky also demonstrates techniques using the Copic and Promarker pens which make great backgrounds for your cards.

Saturday 20th August - Personal Impressions Demonstration with Lyndsay Mason

Today Lyndsay will be demonstrating her latest range of rubber stamps which are produced by Personal Impressions. She will be making some fantastic cards and giving you some fantastic hints and tips for your card making.

Saturday 17th September - Design Objectives with Pat Taylor.

Watch Pat make some beautiful cards using the new Design Objectives products. New products include a great range of rubber stamps and embellishments for your card making using the extremely cute Tatty Teddy. Come along if you are stuck with any techniques or if you just want to learn some new ones.

Saturday 24th September - Molly Bloom Demonstration with Clare Rowlands

Clare designs the marvellous Molly Bloom stamps which include the cute characters Molly and George. Today Clare will be demonstrating using these stamps and will teach you some fabulous card making techniques including showing you how to create subtle colours and backgrounds using various techniques.

Saturday 8th October - Distress Inks Demonstrations with Tracy Watson

Come and see Tracy make Tim Holts style cards using the ever versatile range of Distress Ink pads. This demonstration would be great to come and watch if you have the Distress Inks but you are not quite sure how to use them to their full potential.

Saturday 19th November - Creative Expressions with John Glossop

Watch John Glossop from Creative Expressions make some fantastic Christmas cards in his own unique style. He will be using the latest ranges of Creative Expressions products. If you like Tim Holtz grungy style then you will like this demonstration.

Brighouse Make and Takes

Make and takes are miniature classes. In the make and take you will make one or two cards (depending on the subject) and you can turn up at any point during the day. Each card usually takes approximately half an hour to complete and you will be given full instructions and all materials that you need. Each session costs £2.

Saturday 30th July - Do Crafts Make and Take with Jo

Join in our card making session today using the latest Do Crafts products. Today we will be making a snowman Christmas card using the latest Do Crafts stamps and a snowflake Martha Stewart border punch. See in store for a sample.

Saturday 27th August - Personal Impressions Make and Take

This card making session will use the latest Personal Impressions stamps to create a beautiful card.

Saturday 25th September - Molly Bloom Make and Take with Jo

Throughout the day we will be making cards using the popular Molly Bloom stamps. There are two cards for you to choose from - or you could even stay and do both. Each card will take approximately half an hour to complete. These card making sessions are great if you don't want to rush as you can stay as long as you like and have a chat with likeminded crafters in a relaxing environment doing something you enjoy. One of the Molly Bloom Cards with be Christmas themed and techniques used will include colouring with Distress Inks and Copic/ Pro Marker pens.

Sunday 30th October - Spooky Cards Make and Take with Jo

With Halloween getting closer we will be making spooky cards today. These cards will not be Halloween themed but instead will use Indigo Blue Gothic style stamps. These stamps are great to use for all ages as they can even be used for Harry Potter themed cards for children (or adults!). You will have the choice of making two different cards, one will be aimed at adults the other at children. See in store for a sample.

Saturday 26th November - Martha Stewart Make and Take

Today we will be making a Christmas card using the Martha Stewart Snowflake punch. This card uses the single snowflake punch to create a stunning Christmas tree shape. We will be using a combination of mirror card and Craftwork Card Candy to create this card which makes a wonderful "quick" Christmas card for those of you who may be waiting till the last minute to create your cards.

Sarah Hughes will be demonstrating all of the latest dies from Spellbinders. Learn how to use your dies and add a professional touch to any card. You can also see how the latest die cutting machines work, so this demonstration is great if you are thinking about buying a machine or just don’t know how to use yours to its full potential.

Today Clare (a designer from Molly Bloom) will be showing you some great ideas inspired by the cute characters Molly and George. Clare is a very talented designer and is great at explaining how to colour your images to create professional looking cards.

Sarah Hughes will be demonstrating all of the latest Christmas stamps today giving you some great ideas for those last minute Christmas cards.

Today's demonstration is "metal mania" with Sarah Hughes. She will be showing you how to use thin metal sheets in conjunction with embossing folders and die cutting machines to create professional looking embellishments for your card making and scrapbooking.
